Greetings, all!

We, the three admins, have agreed upon a minimum percentage, that is to say how much RWBY needs to be present, in a RWBY crossover for a RWBY group. Unless the image in question is of superb quality, 33% of the image must contain canon RWBY characters. Essentially, for every individual canon RWBY character, there can only be a maximum of two non-RWBY, canon characters present.

So, if you have a picture of Neptune accompanied by Sister from "Red Versus Blue" and Gwen from "Camp Camp", that would be fine. If, however, you threw in Jon Risinger from "On The Spot", then that would be 25% RWBY and would not be allowed into the canon crossover folder unless it was of superb quality.

A similar rule may be made for OC Visual Art in the future to ensure that it, too, remains RWBY-oriented.

Previously answered questions:

1. "If I draw canon RWBY characters in other show's clothes/settings, do they get restricted by the 33% rule?"

Answer: No! Draw as many of them as you want!

2. "If I draw canon, non-RWBY characters in RWBY outfits/settings, do they get restricted?"

    Answer: Yes!

3. "Do Grimm count as RWBY characters?"

Answer: Only if they play a significant role in an episode. If the Grimm drawn is just your basic Grimm, it doesn't count.

If anyone has any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to post a comment or PM an admin!

I have a honest feeling that the rate for me is questionably "high"...

Just out of curiosity, what percentage do my crossovers rate? Because I tend to aim for approximately 50%, though I realize I more than likely fall below that.

It depends on how many canon RWBY characters you have present.

Fellow admin here ^_^  If you have at least 1 RWBY character for every 2, then you should be fine.  So if you have two characters from another show and one from RWBY, it will be accepted.  If you have 5 characters from another show and only 1 RWBY character, than that image would be declined because it falls below the requirement.  If you are unsure of an image, you can just submit it and see what happens or message the group and ask us to check it out. ^_^

So the characters from my fan comic are a part of crossover with Kamen Rider but they're OCs so where would that fit regarding this? Like say if I did one with just Ruby next to an OC from that crossover.

OCs take precedence over canon-non-RWBY characters. Thus, anything and everything involving an OC will go into the OC folders.

And what happens if they're in their Rider suits, helmet and all? They wouldn't be identified as OCs, since Kamen Riders are an actual thing.

Then they're background characters.

But would that still be considered canon crossover if it's just them in the helmets and suits?

Are your OCs in suits and helmets, or are random background characters in suits and helmets?

My OCs are the Kamen Riders. For example, Makoto Inui is Kamen Rider Faiz. This guy:

Okay, well if you made the Kamen Riders, then they are your OCs. And OCs go into the OC folders.

If I were to draw Salem alongside Bowser from the Mario series with the scene set in the Grimm Lands or the meeting hall, will that fit the criteria?

That would be an image of 50% RWBY characters, which is greater than 33%, so yes!

Bowser would probably be freaked out, though.

Then every page that depicts canon RWBY and canon-non-RWBY characters would go into canon crossovers if it followed the 33% rule.

No, Grimm OCs go into the Misc. folder for now. We'll have a Grimm folder for canon and OC Grimm in the near-ish future.

That would be denied for the quality of the photograph used to capture the image.

You'll want to smooth out the wrinkle as best as you can, keep it on a flat surface, get some bright, white (or as white as you can get) lighting on it, and take the picture at an angle that doesn't distort the image.

And, since Penny is a canon character, you can have as many canon RWBY characters as you want in the crossover folder.

Thanks for the update, but I'm not certain if I could post my RWBY crossover works in this group. Since, I have already read your group rules.

Thank you for accepting then.

I think you only have a few pieces where there are a ton of non-RWBY characters accompanying Yang, haha! You'll probably be fine.

Of course, if you ever have concerns about deviations, just contact us! We serve the people, and you are people.

Yang is my favorite Inhuman in my RWBY/MIB/Marvel crossover series. I might add Pyrrha as well.

I'll see if I could add more.

What about other characters cosplaying as RWBY characters or Grimm versions of creatures from other series, like the Grimm Rahi art?

:iconknives4cash:

Non-RWBY characters follow the 33% rule. Grimm don't count as characters, unless they're given important roles in an episode (ie, the Geist).

So the Grimm Rakshi is a Grimmified Bionicle character. It falls under the 33% rule.

If the RWBY characters are canon characters, then they are not restricted.
